1.  Summary of activities:

The Corporate Support Committee met on January 12, 2006.  The committee had researched all other sponsorship pricing for regional associations.  The committee compared pricing to sponsorship pricing for MASFAA last year.  This was one of the goals set for the committee by the Executive Board.  The committee also assigned regular duties to committee members in order to start on some of the work that needs to be completed in a timely manner.  Below you will find a break down of those duties and the individual assigned to each duty. Many of the duties below address the goals that were set forth at the beginning of this year’s council.  The committee will meet again in early March to report on their assigned activities.

3.  Recommended discussion items for the Council:

The Corporate Support Committee recommends that the sponsorship packages be updated this year.  With many lenders offering 0 fee they must look at areas to cut cost and save additional money in order to absorb the 3% origination fee.  Conference spending will be most likely one of the areas that is cut.  After much discussion the committee does not want to lower the current sponsorship tiers but would like to see them be updated to be more robust.  Jason VanSickle will give addition information during his report.

4.  Recommended action items for the Council:

  • Approval for the Corporate Support Committee to redesign sponsorship packages.
  • Include attendee list with all sponsorship levels
  • Include conference program ads and web banners in top tiers
  • Include items not usually sponsored in low tiers
