2005-06 MASFAA EXECUTIVE COUNCIL REPORT

1.  Summary of activities:     

·        Participated in the NASFAA Leadership Conference March 5-7.

·        Written a Newsletter article regarding the NASFAA Leadership Conference.

·        Coordinated the President/State Representative’s Link on the MASFAA web.

·        Started gathering State President/Representative names, email addresses and conference dates for the 06-07 year. 

·        Set-up travel arrangements for the regional association board meeting exchange.  I will be going to the SWASFAA region in late April to attend their board meeting in Dallas, TX.

·        Continued to discussion 06-07 committee chair positions.

·        Participated as a member of the Nominations Committee.

·        Developed a tentative budget for the 06-07 year.

·        Suggested tentative dates for 06-07 Exec. Council meetings.

 

 

2.  Activities planned, not yet completed:

·        Finalize 06-07 committee chairs.

·        Begin planning for President-Elect retreat  August 3 & 4th.    Finance and Association Governance will meet on the 2nd.

·        Participate as a presenter at the MASFAA symposium.

·        Finalize 06-07 meeting calendar
