2006-07 MASFAA EXECUTIVE COUNCIL REPORT

1.  Summary of activities:                 

 

  • Finalized Web Services Committee:  (Kelvin Jackson from Central Michigan University)

-MASFAA Website has been updated accordingly

  • Had a couple of committee meetings by conference call
  • Work with Paula Gordon from ATAC to make numerous updates to the MASFAA web site

            -Updated President’s Welcome Page to display Vickie’s comments

            -Updated Leadership Page to include 06-07 Executive Council and Committee Chairs

            -Had the MASFAA volunteer forms switched from Vickie to Diane

            -Had Paula remove a few bad links from the MASFAA pages

            -Had Dan Mann added as the 2005-2006 MASFAA Past President

            -Per Billie Jo, posted the revised MASFAA reimbursement forms and instructions

            -Howard Thomas had the MASFAA’s strategic long range plan updated and posted

 

 

  • Emailed DeLores Hawkins about MASFAA Training Page

-Summer Institute Page has since been updated

 

 

2.  Activities planned, not yet completed:

 

  • Still need a couple of pictures of members from the Executive Council
  • Update the MASFAA calendar with important events
  • Continue to help Executive Council members electronically post their reports/minutes and committee members as needed

 

 

3.  Recommended discussion items for the Council:

 

·        Do we need to update the “2007” Awards Nomination Form at this time? 

-The “2006” version is still displaying on the Web
