2006-07 MASFAA EXECUTIVE COUNCIL REPORT

1.  Summary of activities:                 

 

·        Had ATAC post the revised MASFAA Policy and Procedures Manual (Submitted by Dan Mann).

·        Had ATAC post the revised MASFAA Long-Range Strategic Plan (Submitted by Dan Mann)

·        Had ATAC post the MASFAA Awards Committee Survey (Submitted by Susan Fischer)

·        Had ATAC post the re-created list of past recipients of the President’s Award (Submitted by Susan Fischer)

·        Had ATAC post the updated MASFAA Conference Scholarship Application (Submitted by Cheryl Warmann)

·        Had ATAC make a number of changes to the Federal Issues Portal based on a lot of good feedback from Bruce Foote.

·        Had ATAC alter the membership application to no longer allow “not specified” or “other” as an institution type.  A potential member must now indicate an affiliation in this category.  This was done based on suggestions by Vickie.

·        Had ATAC update the MASFAA Conference page to reflect some information for upcoming conference in St. Louis, MO (Submitted by Leo Hertling).

·        Per Susan, had ATAC temporarily remove the awards nomination form.  It was for 2006. We need to get it updated for 2007.

 

 

2.  Activities planned, not yet completed:

 

·        Continue to help Executive Council members electronically post their reports/minutes.

·        Work with Dan and others on the Ballot.  ATAC needs about two weeks to get everything properly set up for the election. Dan is shooting for late April or early May 2007.
